The 2010 Pinewood derby is at an end. We had SOOOO much fun this year making our cars. As you can see Hadden put A LOT of thought time and effort into his first car. We even purchased some earrings from Europe so his rocket boosters would light up. This was Soren's last race as a cub scout. I remember all the effort he put into his first car. This year we were putting the finishing touches on his car the morning of the race. Soren placed 1st for Webelo 1 and Hadden got 2nd for wolves at the district race. Soren placed 1st and Hadden 2nd at the pack race. We had a leader’s race this year. Both Nate and I built a car. Nate won the Cub favorite award for his "moon cheese". My car won first place in the actual derby (in fact it beat Soren's)
